Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how data that you share with Re ("we", "our", or "us") is processed and protected.

The terms “user” and “you” refer to a person that uses the Re Application (“App” or “Re App”), visits Re website (together as "Services"), or contacts Re directly.

The terms "Re", "we", "our", or "us" refer to Dmitrii Zaiats, the developer of the Re app, responsible for processing personal data as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Data We Process

Data From Re App

Re does not have access to user's personal data, Apple ID, or any other identifying information. We do not collect user's name, contact details, or any data stored within the app on user's device.

When you use Re App, we automatically collect certain data about the App and how you engage with it, such as your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, approximate location, the pages of the App that you open, time, type, frequency, and duration of your activities within the App.

We do not have access to any content you add within the App, such as thoughts, responses, and journal entries. Our data collection is limited to non-personally identifiable information, such as metadata necessary for improving app performance and user experience.

Some of the data we collect is not obtained directly from the App but from third-party analytics services, such as Google Firebase and Google Analytics, with whom we cooperate to provide you the best experience. For this purpose, cookies may be installed on your device. We do not use cookies for marketing, advertising, or sharing with third parties outside of our analytics partners.

In the event of an error within the App, we collect data (through third-party products) on your device. This data may include information such as your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the App when using the service, the time and date of your use of the service, and other technical statistics.

When you utilize AI features in the Re App, data such as your input is collected by AI services we cooperate with, such as OpenAI. This information may be stored on OpenAI servers, and Re is not responsible for its safety at any moment.

Purchase and Financial Data

Re does not have access to your Apple ID or financial information provided during in-app purchases.

We do not collect and do not have access to your name, address, phone number, email address, id number, credit card information, bank account details or anything else that can personally identify you while you make a purchase.

Purchases made through the Apple In-App purchase feature are subject solely to Apple’s Terms and Conditions and Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Re is not liable for any in-app purchases. You can request a refund directly from the Apple App Store.

Contact Data

If you contact Re directly, we may collect your data.

We collect data you share when you contact us, such as your email address. We do not collect phone numbers or other contact details unless you provide them to us directly. The content of the messages you send us is also collected to allow us to respond to your inquiries or concerns properly.

Data From Re Website

When user visits Re website limited analytical data such as user’s device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, approximate location, the pages opened, time and duration of the visit is collected by third-party analytics services, such as Google Analytics, with whom we cooperate to provide you the best experience.

For this purpose cookies may be installed on your device. Re does not use cookies for marketing, advertising, sold to third parties purposes.

Retention Period

We will keep your data as long as it is necessary for the purposes described above.

When you raise a valid objection to receiving information from us or to processing your personal data based on legitimate interest, we will keep your data no longer than necessary to perform the contract or for legal purposes.

Partners

We work with third-party service providers, such as Google Firebase, to provide app development, hosting, maintenance, and analytics. Personal data related to payments is processed solely by Apple, and Re does not have access to this data.

Children

Re App is not directed at individuals under the age of sixteen (16), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16. However, if the law requires that you must be older for Re to lawfully process your personal data without parental consent, you must be of that minimum age.

User's Rights

You can access, correct, or change your personal information. You can change most of your information yourself in the Re application. For other cases please contact us at help@reapp.ai.

If we rely on your consent to process certain personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Re App provides you with the ability to delete your data automatically by removing the App from your device.

If the GDPR applies to you, you can exercise additional rights such as:

Right to object: In certain circumstances, you may have the right to object to processing your personal data by Re.
Right of erasure: In certain circumstances, you may have the right to the erasure of personal data that we hold about you.
Right to restrict processing: When you contest the accuracy of your information, believe we process it unlawfully, or object to the processing, you have the right to temporarily stop the processing of your information.
Right to file a complaint: If you believe that we violate your data rights, you have the right to file a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.

Additional User’s Rights Under CCPA

If the CCPA applies to you:

Right of deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information that we hold, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to know: You have the right to require that we disclose the categories of personal information collected, sources of personal information, categories of personal information shared with third parties, and the business purposes for collecting personal information.
Right to non-discrimination: You have the right not to be subject to discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights under the CCPA.
